RBL golf is a small family business set up with the simple aim of bringing stand-out apparel, colour, fun, laughter and enjoyment to junior golfers; when Rupert (co-founder) fell in love with the game at the age of 11 he found it incredibly hard to find golf clothes and when he did find them there wasn’t much choice, so we thought ‘why not set up our own brand?’. Fast forward two years and we were ready to launch!

Ru began his love affair with golf at the age of 7 but it wasn’t until the age of 10 that his passion truly kicked in; school summer holidays, half terms and EVERY weekend were suddenly dedicated to golf (even missing family party’s to practice!) and his passion isn’t showing any sign of letting up! Ru also has a love for fashion and likes to look the part on the course but he struggled to find junior golf clothes and when he did the choice was limited. It was through this that RBL golf was created! You will often see Ru on the Salisbury & South Wiltshire golf course wearing/showcasing his latest colour combo from the RBL golf range.

Adam: (co-founder) aka Dad!

He’d like to tell you Ru’s golf ability was passed on through genetics… but he’d be lying!! Whilst ‘dad’ has spent a few days here and there on the local par 3 he’s never played a full 18 and he’s definitely missed his chance to play Ru… their ability couldn’t be further apart! However, he knows a good thing when he sees it and knew Ru was onto something with RBL golf. Having never done anything like this before he started researching and the next thing he knew the company name, logo had been created and the trademark confirmed.

2023 you were great!!

This was my first full season and my first season with any kind of handicap; I started the season off with a handicap of 34 which was understandable as the first three rounds I carded weren’t the best at all! But, I persisted, kept practicing, kept going (in all weathers) and ended the year with a handicap of 18. That was enough to earn me the Illingworth Perpetual Cup in the end of season award ceremony at my golf club, Salisbury and South Wilts (the trophy awarded to the junior club member with the best overall reduction in their handicap over the season). Unbelievably proud to have achieved this however…. I want more!! What will 2024 bring?? Let’s wait and see!!
