This was the first of the Junior Opens I have signed up to for this summer… I absolutely loved it!!

I have been playing golf for a few years, but I haven’t felt confident enough to play at other clubs until now, so I was nervous before the round and carding a 7 on the first hole didn’t help! Fortunately, I managed to settle my nerves and eventually carded a round of 80 (2 over my course handicap) and came 6^th, of 33, on the gross score and 9^th on the nett score.

All in all, I was really pleased with how I played but know I can drive far better and I left a few putts out there so there’s room for improvement! I will be back next year to see if I can better myself!

A massive thank you to Marlborough Golf Club for hosting (I’ll definitely be visiting again for some GP rounds) and a massive shout out to all the junior golfers taking part (especially my playing partner) as the weather wasn’t so nice!!
